Safety is Priority One

Flight safety is the number one priority for any mission. The “Remote Pilot in Command” (RPIC) will always have the final say on a mission, with the applicable FAA airspace authorizations providing guidance. Drone Guy-SJC utilizes multiple LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability) applications to verify if any flight restrictions are in the area prior to the mission. Likewise, each sUAS (small unmanned aerial system) is inspected prior to each mission using a pre-flight checklist. Each drone is registered as required by the FAA.
